O ur future is built by our present. Therefore, let us search for a solution, not destruction. Our geopolitics must not become the cause of our national demise. The factionalist and neo-feudal leadership of political parties must now step aside. Mistakes must be penalized, but they should not block the path to the future. However, under the guise of correcting the past—which is what change demands—any action that enforces "kangaroo justice" against the commitment to human rights will build conflict, not peace. The state must not protect criminals. The progress brought by change must be upliftment, not an atmosphere of revenge. We do not have the right to be uncivilized; we only have the duty to uphold the law fairly and cleanly. The law cannot be taken into one's own hands. Public security cannot be maintained by weakening the morale of security forces.
